Be a Piece of Our Puzzle!

It's here! The puzzle we ordered for our fundraiser arrived today. It is completely adorable, and completely overwhelming. Let me tell you...1000 pieces is crazy! I'm not sure we will be able to put it together once we sell all the pieces.

Anyway, this is how the fundraiser works. Our goal is to sell all 1000 pieces before baby Banion comes home, so in order to do that we need to share, share, share! Basically, we are "selling" each piece for $5, which means we write your name on the back of a puzzle piece. Once all the pieces are sold, we put the puzzle together and frame it. We will hang it on our baby's wall in the nursery; everyone who "buys" a piece becomes a "piece of our puzzle." Baby Banion will know, once old enough, that all those people on the back of the puzzle helped bring him or her home to his or her forever family. Cue the tears...

Those of you who have already donated to our fund, will automatically be given puzzle pieces; in fact, we have already written your names and put the pieces in a jar to await the rest of the pieces. Anyone who would like to be a "piece of our puzzle" can donate right here at the bottom of our blog or on our GoFund Me site. You can also get it to us in person if you live close by, or mail it to us at 17 James Court, South Charleston, OH 45368. You will get a puzzle piece for every $5 donated. If you write a check, make it payable to Ashley Slone or Vince Banion. (Yes, I know, I know, legally, my last name is still Slone.)

We will also be selling pieces at our garage sale on August 13 and 14. And while I am mentioning the garage sale, if anyone has items they would like to donate for us to sell in our garage sale, let us know. We will be happy to pick the items up.
